VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers have said this is the most rewarding experience they’ve ever had! We need over 250 volunteers. Morning, afternoon and full day shifts are available.  There are many volunteer positions available to support the event leading to lots of happy, smiling children.  These positions include:

Anywhere: Willing to work in any position, including “behind the scenes”
Personal Shopper: Guide a child around the store, allowing him/her to select items.  
Merchandise Attendant: Assist personal shopper and child with selecting merchandise, oversee/stock merchandise area  
Sneaker Station:  Assist child in getting sneakers that fit.
Roving Support:  Fill in as needed throughout the shift.

• Teenagers can help too –  We will happily complete any forms teenagers need to give them credit for community service hours.

Set-up and Breakdown

• Set-up – The week before the store we need volunteers to help us with setting up the store. We will be setting up tables, un-packing items and hanging and arranging the clothing and sneakers by size. Any time you can offer, will be appreciated.  We will inform volunteers about the timing as we get closer to the event.
• Breakdown – The Monday after the event we may need volunteers to help us pack up the extra items. We will welcome help for anytime you can give.  Dates and times will be announced as we approach the event. 
• Teenagers can help help here too – For setup and breakdown, we can use teenagers. We will happily complete any forms teenagers need to give them credit for community service hours.
